I spent most of August, September and October studying and stressing about my big matriculation examinations of this Autumn. English, History and Civics, none of them was easy and for all that my English is good and I have studied it for 8 or 9 years and I use it daily, the exam wasn't easy for native speakers either.
After a about two months wait the results finally came and while I had some idea about what I was going to get, I couldn't be sure. So when I got that tiny piece of paper in my hand and I checked the grades, I was very happy but not too surprised...
History: laudatur (the best of the best, only about 5 % of Finnish high school students reach it)
Civics: eximia cum laude approbatur (the second best, 15 % get this one)
English: eximia cum laude approbatur
Needless to say I'm a bit over the moon and I still can't believe I did it that well... Now I only need to ace the remaining exams I have next March/April: Finnish, French and Swedish..
